Saturday, September 8 — BARBECUE

Dan and Judit's Bow StudioDon’t miss the first-ever ATANH Summer Barbecue which will be hosted at Dan & Judit’s home in Bow, NH. This event will be from 5pm to 7:30pm just prior to the 2nd Saturday of the Month Milonga on September 8.

Food will be BYOB&B (bring your own beef and beverages). We will have a grill available for cooking whatever meats you choose to bring, including veggie burgers if that is what you prefer, and if you’d like to bring something else to share, like a salad or desert, please email me asap to markatuson@aol.com, so we can keep track of what is coming our way.

Tango music will be playing in Dan & Judit’s dance hall just in case you want to dance there, too. If you could let us know in advance if you plan to attend, this would be very helpful, and please RSVP to Judit at jnoyes333@comcast.net as soon as possible.

Directions:
Take Exit 2 on Route 89. Turn LEFT onto Route 13 (Clinton Street). After the lower speed limit and the sharp right curve, you’ll pass Page Road on your left. Take the next right, onto Belaview Drive. Take the next (and only) right, onto Fernwood Place. Then take the next (and only) left turn, onto Essex Drive. Dan and Judit’s studio is about 500 feet ahead on the left. ATANH Milonga: Saturday, August 11!

This month’s ATANH 2nd Saturday of the Month Milonga is this weekend with the lessons at 7:30pm, and dancing from 8:30 to midnight. Venue again is the Mill-a-Round Dance Center, 250 Commercial St., Manchester, NH.

This months event is ATANH Beginners Night.

Zandy ClarkIf you are familiar with AT, but haven’t tried close embrace previously, Zandy Clark will be teaching Beginner Close-Embrace, and for those of you who are already familiar, he’ll also include a sacada towards the end of the lesson that can be used with Close-Embrace.

Meanwhile, out back, Mark Tuson will be leading a lesson for anyone that is new to AT, and teaching the basic pattern for such beginners.

So … if you are new to AT and haven’t tried close embrace … or … if you are an experienced AT dancer and have a friend that you have been wanting to introduce to AT, then bring them down for the beginner AT lesson, and while they learn the basic pattern step into Zandy’s class for the secada at the back half of Zandy’s lesson.

Oh, and by the way, if you bring a friend that has never done AT previously, then we’ll enter you into a second drawing in addition to the usual drawing that we provide during the milonga.

Hope to see all of you, and a few new faces, too!

Sincerely,
Mark Tuson
ATANH President
